Hecke modules, and suitable deformation problems.

Transparancies of a talk in a series of four on modularity of elliptic curves, at Utrecht, June 2000.

Summary/Résumé

The aim of this talk is to explain how the Local Langlands correspondence is used in the work of Breuil, Conrad, Diamond and Taylor in order to construct the Hecke modules that correspond to certain types of deformations of Galois representations.

This talk is the third in a series of four. The second talk was given by Eyal Goren, and transparencies of his talk can be found on his home page.
