On the field intersection problem of generic polynomials
via resolvent polynomial

Let k be an arbitrary field.
We study a general method of the field intersection problem of
generic polynomials over k via formal Tschirnhausen transformation.
In the cases of cubic, quartic and solvable quintic, we give an
explicit answer to the problem by using multi-resolvent polynomials.
